Settle OTC trades without going first
Overview
Sable Vault is a private escrow for SOL block trades on Solana mainnet. A seller locks SOL in a freshly generated vault wallet and receives a Vault Note. The buyer pastes the note, pays in USDC or tBTC, and a single atomic transaction sends the quote tokens to the seller and the SOL to the buyer. Either both sides settle, or nothing happens.
Wallets & network
Connect Phantom or Solflare. All transactions run on Solana mainnet with real funds. Keep a small SOL balance for network fees on both sides.
Create a Vault Order
- Open the app and choose Create.
- Enter the SOL amount, the quote token (USDC or tBTC) and the total price.
- Approve the deposit in your wallet. SOL moves into a new vault wallet.
- Copy the Vault Note and share it privately with your counterparty.
The Vault Note
The note starts with sable-vault- and encodes the vault key, price, quote token and your payout address. It is the key to the escrow: anyone holding it can move the vaulted SOL. Only share it with the intended buyer, over a channel you trust.
Pay & Settle
- Open the app and choose Fulfill.
- Paste the Vault Note and review the amount, price and token.
- Connect a wallet holding the quote tokens and approve Pay & Settle.
- One transaction pays the seller and delivers SOL to you. A Solscan link confirms it.
Supported tokens
- Base: SOL
- Quote: USDC and tBTC (SPL tokens on Solana)
Fees
The protocol fee is 0.25% of the trade, shown in the fee breakdown before you sign. Standard Solana network fees apply.
Security model
Settlement is atomic: the payment and the SOL delivery happen in the same transaction. The trust point is the Vault Note itself — whoever holds it controls the vault. Start with small amounts, verify every detail before signing, and never post a note publicly.
Troubleshooting
- Note not accepted: notes must start with
sable-vault-. - Transaction fails: check you hold enough quote tokens plus SOL for fees, then retry.
